Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used to transport supplies and products around on wooden pallets using metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight includes a pump that could lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated with care in order to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Equipment should be checked prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make sure that the handle can smoothly turn. The pallet should be carefully stacked in order to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To be able to lower the forks and release air in the pump, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks can then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks must be at the center in order to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is not safe to push the pallet ahead of you as the momentum can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop gradually, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
