End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible equipment and is popular in the material handling industry. These equipment have superior performance characteristics which are quite comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space required to use these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications which need frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
A lot of companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices could arrange finished products on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a way which is both efficient and safe.
All basic reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The forks also have a hydraulic system that allows the operator to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives much more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
