Powertrain
Lift trucks must be really tough to last for hours of use in numerous extreme environments. Though being ergonomic for operators, these machines need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast. The rugged, reliable Yale powertrain provides excellent durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer managed transmission and engine and extremely strong shafts and gears. The engine, transmission, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated in order to reduce vibration and noise inside the compartment of the operator.
Electrical
The lift truck's electrical system is responsible for connecting the truck's major nerve centers together. Therefore, the electrical system in the lift truck needs to be really durable and reliable for the most demanding hot/cold and wet/dry operations. There is much sophistication required to be able to control truck functionality.
Delivering reliable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system employs digital technology and reduces wiring and reduces electrical connections as well. This results in improved reliability and remarkable serviceability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the forklift's "muscles". They give the necessary force needed to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic parts. Some of these components include: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, fine micron filters and long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders. The control valve has been strategically placed to be able to prolong part life by lessening exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts offer extreme dependability and are known for withstanding harsh working conditions and coming out on top. These equipment have been constructed in such a precise way that attention to detail has been considered so as to keep the operator as comfortable as they can be.
