Genie DC units have systems on-board to charge the battery and offer the operator with long battery life between charges. When being charged overnight or between shifts, there is a 30 amp universal smart charger system that will automatically convert to the AC voltage frequency and input. To save unnecessary power usage which will cost your business this charging system will shut down automatically once the battery pack has reached full charge. Genie DC units provide proportional drive and lift controls which help the user to use precise and smooth movements and regulate the speed of each and every function. This ensures accurate positioning with each and every lift. On non-jib models, the self-levelling platform rotates to 90 in either direction. For jib models, the jib can rotate 80 in either direction as well as 135 to 139 vertically, that depends on the model used. Working heights range from 12.52 meters to 15.94 meters, depending on the model. Genie DC lifts are stable when rotating the turntable in tight areas. Due to lack of tailswing, repositioning of the lift while rotating the turntable is not required. Over and up reach on these machines is great for working in small spaces and the compact model size is perfect for when lighter weight equipment are needed.
