Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
In cases requiring high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant particularly to lift workers. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
