Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your requirements, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and made like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being engineered and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for instance, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
